League of Women Voters Meeting, Feb 11, 2014

The League of Women Voters of Jefferson County will hold its monthly program on Tuesday, February 11, 7:00 p.m., at the Appalachian Electric Cooperative, 1109 Hill Street, New Market. This month’s featured speaker is Robin Norris, who serves as an Academic Administrator at Tennessee Virtual Academy. An educator for more than 16 years, Ms Norris is also a doctoral student at Carson Newman University. She will share information and answer questions about virtual education in Tennessee. The local community and all League members are invited to attend. This presentation will be especially informative for parents of school-age children.
