Grace, the Princess of Timeless Elegance

Grace Kelly has always represented true elegance in many ways. Her taste in clothes, hair style and behavior in public, gracious manners, and her talent are above reproach. She was the epitome of class.

Her wedding dress is a magnificent vision of the ethereal image of a bride, just pure perfection for her personality and body type. I still look at the published wedding photos of the Royal Wedding of Monaco and think of the splendid beauty of the bride.

It is a little-known fact that in the Monaco Palace, the wife of the Prince (or, shall one say, the new Princess) must be financially responsible for all household costs of the palace. The Kelly family financially became responsible for over one million dollars a year or more…and that was in the 50’s and 60’s. So, the lady chosen for the role of Princess of Monaco, must also be very wealthy to keep up such an amount of money.

Grace of Monaco, a long-awaited-for film, is making its way to the big box office. Nicole Kidman is playing the title role. Kidman is perfect for the part, tall and slender, and so talented: she spent a lot of time preparing for the role. Every film with Grace Kelly was watched over and again to get her carriage, voice, her manner of movement, and expressions to bring her true grace to the screen.

Darlings, this will be a film about Princess Grace’s years of going through a dark time in her marriage to Prince Rainier. Fame, beauty, and fortune have no guarantee for a perfect life or bliss. She had her dark days of agony.

Be assured, the fashions, jewelry, society, glamor, and class will be exciting to view, and my bet is that there is going to be a very fashionable return to a strong segment of designers presenting the Grace Kelly Style.
