The JCHS Baseball Diamond Club will host its annual Chili supper and Auction on Saturday, March 8 in the commons area of the school. The doors will open at 4:30 with dinner being served from 5:00 – 6:30. There will be both silent action items and a live auction. The speaker for the event will be former Tennessee Smokies player and current PGA Tour caddy Chico Fernandez. Fernandez played for the Smokies during the 1950s – 60s when the team was a member of the South Atlantic League. Fernandez arrived in the United States in 1952 from Cuba to pursue a baseball career. This is a great time to come out and meet the new coaching staff for the Patriots.
