Summer Ideas for Girls and Boys

I know that it is just now time for Spring Break but I am already thinking ahead to summer. My son really enjoys some of the local sports camps but my daughter is just not into them. She is in elementary school and loves art and nature. Do you have any suggestions on camps that she may be interested in attending this summer?

Fortunately, you should have several options for your daughter, although you may be traveling to Morristown or Knoxville for some of them. There are various art camps in Morristown that may interest her including, but not limited to, those at I Am An Artist Art Studio. Jefferson City has a theater guild that might be an option, as does Morristown, and Knoxville has one that is totally for children. Locally, she could be interested in STEM Camp, which was very successful last year, and you can get information regarding the camp from her school. If traveling into Knoxville is fine then the Knoxville Zoo has a day camp that is wonderful, though slots fill quickly so it is good to go ahead and inquire.
