Any Idea On School Makeup Days?

I was wondering if you have any idea when the make up days will be for snow? Also, how many days will students in Jefferson County be required to make up? I have heard several rumors but nothing has come home to let me know the plan and I would like to make arrangements because if we have to go to school on Saturdays then my kids will need transportation.

As of Thursday night’s School Board Work Session, no definitive plans have been made. The Director of Jefferson County Schools, Dr. Edmonds, told the School Board that he will wait until later in the month to announce arrangements, in case of the need of another day out. Options could include Saturday school, tacking days on to the end of the year and students attending on administrative days. Currently there are two days that will need to be made up due to snow and ice.
