MARJORIE SMELCER HANCE, age 82, of Manchester, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Horizon Health and Rehab in Manchester.

Mrs. Hance was born in Dandridge, TN, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Lettie Rainwater Smelcer. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Manchester.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hance was also preceded in death by her husband, Quentin Hance. She is survived by one daughter, Rosanna (Phil) Bruce of Nashville, TN; one brother, Walter B. (Betty) Smelcer of Dandridge, TN; one grandchild, Melia (Craig) Hensley; and one great grandchild, Kaylee Hensley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Hills Union Methodist Church in Dandridge, TN with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Hills Union Methodist Church Cemetery in Dandridge.
