Jefferson County Blood Drive March 19 & 25, 2014

Spring into Spring by Giving Blood

Free Food for Donors

Medic Regional Blood Center is just one of many local organizations eager to say goodbye to the cold doldrums of winter and welcome the warmth of spring. “This winter has been brutal and we have been playing catch up because of all the drives we have had to cancel due to inclement weather,” explains Christi Fightmaster, Medic spokesperson. The area blood provider is hoping that warmer weather will bring a renewed interest on behalf of blood donors. “We hope that this new season we see an upswing in our collections,” says Fightmaster. Plus, everyone who donates will receive a free appetizer from Texas Roadhouse.

Donors are always welcome at one of their two donor centers: 1601 Ailor Avenue or 11000 Kingston Pike in Farragut. As always, for added convenience, donors can visit a community drive.
