Merchants and Professionals showcased at Jefferson County Business Expo & Home Show

The Dandridge Community Trust (DCT) has teamed up with FOX 43, WIVK, The Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, The Jefferson County Post, The Standard Banner and Life Care EMS to host the Jefferson County Business Expo & Home Show on April 4th – 6th.  This major event is designed to bring together residents of JeffersonCounty with the many local professionals, contractors and retailers in the area, and is the largest merchant event in JeffersonCounty. More than 85 vendors will be showcased, including landscape and home improvement contractors, banks, insurance agencies, real estate, sports and recreation facilities, home-based and retail storefront, and non-profits.

The Expo gives business owners the opportunity to meet face to face with potential customers, talk about new products and services, as well as renew relationships with their established customers.  This event is a cost effective way to reach out to the local market and showcase businesses in a unique professional environment.  Exhibitors will also have the opportunity to network with other small businesses and learn about services that may help their own business grow.

For attendees, the Expo offers the community an opportunity to discover what’s in their own backyard. Expo-goers will benefit from exclusive discounts and special event pricing on goods and services.  Many of the exhibitors are offering prize giveaways to Expo attendees.

“Exposure to all the local businesses in our county is a benefit to the entire community,” says Jim Everett, President of Dandridge Community Trust-the Main Street Program hosting the Expo.  “When residents shop local they strengthen existing businesses, encourage new growth and expansion, and in turn these businesses support local causes, hire new employees, and put your tax dollars back into the community.”

This family-friendly event will be held at the DandridgeActivityCenter, located at the “Field of Dreams” in Dandridge. Admission is $3 for adults (a portion to benefit the ActivityCenter) and children 15 & under are free.

Expo Dates and Times are:

Friday/Saturday, April 4 & 5 – 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Sunday, April 6 – 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
