SARAH FRANCES McCOIG FOX
Sarah Frances McCoig Fox, age 89, of White Pine, TN passed away on March 29, 2014 at Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was born June 8, 1924 in Cocke County, the daughter of the late Otha and Ida McCoig of Cocke County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Asa Fox; daughter, Joyce; brothers, Mike and Andrew McCoig; sister, Josephine Baxter. Those left to cherish her memories are son, Billy Wayne Fox and wife Wilma of White Pine; grandson, Dwayne Fox and wife Judy of White Pine; granddaughters, Tiffany Fox Mull and husband Scotty of Dandridge and Ashley Fox Webb and husband Mike of Knoxville, great-grandchildren: Shawn Fox, Brent Fox, Macy Mull, Karsyn Mull, Emery Webb and Maggie Webb; great-great-grandchildren, Gavin Fox, Trysten and Avery Fox; also several nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral service will be held on March 31, 2014, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with the Rev. Henry Owens and Rev. Doug Brown officiating. Family and friends will meet at White Pine Cemetery on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, 11:00am for the graveside interment. Family will receive friends on Monday from 5-7:00pm prior to the funeral service. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Faith Baptist Church in White Pine or to Witt Baptist Church Organ Fund in Morristown. The family would like to that the staff at Jefferson County Nursing Home for taking good care of Sarah, and also many thanks to Smokey Mountain Hospice.
