Jefferson County Disaster Relief Yard Sale, May 2-3, 2014

The Jefferson County Disaster Relief will be hosting a yard sale this Fri and Sat. May 2-3 from 8-4 Friday and 8-3 Saturday at Oak Hills Baptist Church at 1079 Devotie Road, Jefferson City, TN. Oak Hills fronts Hwy 92. The funds raised will be used by Baptist Builders and Disaster Relief for materials purchased for local projects to help on remodels or repairs for needy families and for travel to natural disasters nationally. All funds are through donations. All work is done by volunteers. Disaster Relief is affiliated with TN Disaster Relief and North American Disaster Relief and goes in 3rd in line behind the Salvation Army and Red Cross in a natural disaster. The teams consist of chain saw, flood recovery, construction, food, shower and laundry, chaplains, mud-out, child care and many more. The yard sale will have household goods, tools, furniture, toys, gun cabinet, purses, clothing, jewelry, baked goods, tools and more.
