GRITS Kicks Up The Heat at Dandridge Pizza for ‘First Friday’

It was high action at Dandridge Pizza and More on Friday evening as Grits band was in the house for the first Friday in May. Folks looking for a stellar show and meal close to home were lined up to catch the performance. Grits is a local band that offers a bluesy groove and easy show style that never fails to pack the room. First Friday events are an every month entertainment opportunity at the pizzeria and Italian eatery. Grits kicked up the heat and even though the calendar still says spring, the crowd and tunes were all about ushering in steamy nights following days on the water. Locals were looking for something hot and, as always, Grits delivered, marking the First Friday in May a prelude to those hazy, lazy days of summer.
