TWRA Hosting “Becoming an Outdoors Woman”, June 14, 2014

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will host a Becoming an Outdoors Woman field day at the John Sevier Hunter Education Center in Knoxville on June 14th.

BOW is primarily aimed at women, but is an opportunity for anyone eighteen years or older to learn outdoor skills usually associated with hunting and fishing, but useful in many outdoor pursuits.

The event will include All Terrain Vehicle operation, introduction to firearms, pistol shooting, nature photography, Dutch oven cooking, archery, boating safety education, reading the woods, backyard wildlife habitat, and an introduction to turkey hunting.

The workshop fee is $25 and includes lunch and snacks.  Checks should be made payable to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and be mailed with the enrollment form to:
