JOYE D. SMITH. age 68, of Jefferson City, TN passed away May 3, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Hugh and Gertrude Bell; brothers, Roy and Walter L. (Bud) Bell. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Estel T. (Tom) Smith, Jr.; daughters, Shannon (Scott) Chambers of Talbott, TN, Dana (Jarnigan) Bailey of Jefferson City, TN; sister, Sylvia (Walt) Cribb of Hemmingway, SC; grandchildren, Shanda Kimbrough (Josh Adams), Adam Kimbrough, Kristin (Brandon); and one great-grandchild, Braylon; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Friday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service with Rev. John Pinkston officiating.
