Jefferson Middle Hosts County Wide Field Day

It is almost summertime in Jefferson County when the local schools begin participating in field day. Last week, students from various schools across the county went head to head in the County Wide Field Day. The best of the best from local schools spent the day running, jumping and showing their skills in sundry activities that required speed, strength and coordination. Though a limited number of students from each school can participate in the County Wide Field Day, many schools are currently in the process of hosting individual class field days, where the challenge rests in who has the most fun vs. who crosses the finish line first and every event produces multiple ribbons.
