Salvation Bell Rings in Downtown Dandridge

The Tennessee Baptist Convention hosted a prayer service at the Jefferson County Courthouse on May 8, 2014. The “Ringing of the Salvation Bell” was a lunchtime event to afford elected officials and employees the opportunity to participate in the service. A prayer bell arrived via truck for the event. It was harvested from one of the oldest churches in Tennessee and has begun a new phase as the “Salvation Bell”, visiting local cities and towns across the State to promote prayer.
