ETSU – Devine to assist Team USA at NORCECA World Championship Tournament

Qualification Tournament to be held this weekend in Colorado Springs

ETSU volleyball head coach Lindsey Devine will help coach the U.S. National Women’s Team at the NORCECA World Championship Qualification Tournament, which will be held May 15-18 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

On Sunday, U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team Head Coach Karch Kiraly announced the 12-player roster and coaching staff, and Devine was named one of the two assistants.

The U.S. Women – who rank second in the world – open pool play on May 15 against Guatemala, followed by Panama on May 16 and Honduras on May 17. All three U.S. pool matches are scheduled for 5 p.m. ET. The medal round matches take place on May 18 at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. ET.

The U.S. National Team will be playing for the automatic berth to the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship, which takes place in September and October in Italy.
