Cruisin’ & Groovin’ Saturday in Historic Town Square
The Historic Town Square was rockin’ in Dandridge on Saturday, as Cruisin’ and Groovin’ came to town. Antique cars lined the streets and antique car lovers strolled the sidewalks perusing the beauties. Music of the era added to the feel and the almost postcard atmosphere that gave a nod to an era when timed moved slower and automobiles were a work of art. Vendors offered food and drink and an ongoing raffle and give away provided interesting prizes, with the energetic MC of the event keeping things lively. Entertainment included, among other events, a Moon Pie eating contest that brought out the kid in both young and young at heart. Those that missed the morning activity can still check out Cruisin’ and Groovin’ through late afternoon. Cruisin’ and Groovin’ has become an annual event in the Historic Town Square and joins a line up of activities that will stretch into summer and fall months.
