The school remained on lockdown during the training exercise until all simulated threats had been cleared. A meeting followed with all involved parties to have a discussion on the positive and negatives of the enactment exercise, which is designed to streamline the response time and efficiency of response, should an actual emergency occur. This is the second simulated training incident, with the first taking place earlier at Jefferson County High School.
