Footwear Industries of Tennessee Newest Addition To Jefferson City

Footwear Industries of Tennessee, Inc became the newest manufacturing addition to Jefferson City, as they held their ribbon cutting on May 22, 2014. The Chinese manufacturer of men’s shoes employs over 5000 workers and produces over 3 million pairs of shoes per year in their Tianjin factories. The new opportunity in Jefferson City will bring jobs to the local area and bring a new community partner to Jefferson County. Jefferson City Mayor Potts and a host of company officials were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Following the ribbon cutting, attendees were invited to tour the plant and talk with representatives of Footwear Industries of Tennessee, Inc.
