Fizz, Boom, Read is this summer’s reading theme and children of all ages are encouraged to attend their local library and participate in this exciting program. Not only will students be introduced to interesting books that will light the imagination, there will be opportunities for hands on experiences and guest visitors throughout the summer. Jefferson City will host their program on Friday afternoons at 2p.m. during the summer months-Dandridge program will be on Wednesday mornings at 10a.m. and White Pine will have their program at 10:30 a.m. on Thursdays. Those that are interested can stop by their local library for more information or register online on the Jefferson County Public Library page. Programs may vary slightly from location to location.
