River Glen June Trials

While much of the nation’s attention was on Belmont Stakes, as California Chrome prepared to make a run at being the 12th Triple Crown champion, locally horse aficionados were up early at River Glen Equestrian Park. River Glen held Horse Trials on June 6th-8th and the field was deep with graceful participants. River Glen, located in New Market, is a 200 acre equestrian park that provides a wide range of services and shows from Beginner-Novice through Intermediate. The weekend event was a USEF/USEA two day sanctioned event. Their annual line up will include another sanctioned event, the Fall Horse Trials, in November.
