‘Loaves and Fishfest’ Summer Festival, Downtown Dandridge, July 19, 2014

Loaves and FishfestSaturday, July 19th, downtown Dandridge will be the site of the ‘Loaves and Fishfest’ summer festival. This family-friendly event is an opportunity to enjoy great food, live music, a variety of vendors, special exhibits (including the latest in fishing equipment for the angler in your household), and a ‘KID ZONE.’

Co-organized by the Dandridge Ministerial Association (DMA) and the Dandridge Community Trust (DCT), Loaves and Fishfest will support the Dandridge Food Pantry as well as the projects and activities presented by DCT throughout the year.

Pastor John Thompson of the DMA commented that, “The Loaves and Fishfest is a great time for fellowship with neighbors and family activities. It is also a wonderful way to help those who find themselves needing food to make it through the month.”

DCT’s Executive Director, Tina Murrow, said that “we heard from the community that a special summer event for the whole family would be welcome so, with the help of the DMA, we created an authentic East Tennessee summer festival.”

You can help provide for those in need – and have a great time — by bringing your family out for the “Loaves & Fishfest” summer festival on Saturday, July 19th from 3 – 8 p.m. in Downtown Dandridge.
