CHARLES SUMNER “CHUCK” SIMMS, age 75, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday evening, June 19, 2014 at his home. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and remained very patriotic until his death. He was a member of the Dandridge First United Methodist Church. Chuck was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol Sue Simms; sons, William Richard (Elizabeth), John Barrien (Sue Lynn) and Charles IV; daughters, Margaret E. Sharkey (Michael) and April Elizabeth Conner (Michael); eleven grandchildren. Funeral services, Sunday, June 22, 2014, 3:00pm at the Dandridge First United Methodist Church with Dr. Jay Ferguson officiating. Interment to follow at Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
