ETSU Football Announces “Kids Camp” Set for July 26, 2014

Buccaneer.289.1245.KThe East Tennessee State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Thursday that the football program will host the Carl Torbush/ETSU Football Kids Camp presented by Chick-Fil-A at Johnson City Crossings for children entering 4th grade to those entering 8th grade on Saturday, July 26th inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center.

The camp, which will run from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., will begin with registration from 8:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. Registration tables will be located on the first floor of the Dome’s west side near the BucSports Athletic Training Center. The cost of the camp is $10 for pre-registration and $15 on day of the event. Participants will receive an ETSU football t-shirt provided by Chick-Fil-A at Johnson City Crossings.

“This is a great opportunity for young players to come out and improve their football skills, drills and techniques,” said ETSU head coach Carl Torbush. “We’re excited about having these kids on our campus and giving them the opportunity to learn from our coaching staff.”

Players who plan to participate in the clinic should wear workout gear and indoor gym shoes. Players will not need helmets or outdoor cleats.

Each individual must also have their medical insurance policy information to be allowed to participate.
