Jefferson County came out to celebrate July 4th, as both White Pine and Jefferson City hosted Parades. The community events offered the opportunity for residents of all ages to enjoy the festive atmosphere surrounding Independence Day. Red, White and Blue were the colors of the day, as the local parade lines marched down the city streets. Children waited patiently for it to rain candy, thanks to the generosity of those participating in the local parades. While Americans all across the Nation celebrated July 4th with a bevy of large scale parades, none were more highly anticipated than the ones held here, in Jefferson County, and the level of Patriotism simply couldn’t be bested, as Jefferson County enthusiastically waved in Independence Day 2014!
