While school may still be out for the summer, the learning hasn’t stopped at the Jefferson City Public Library. They have hosted a bevy of great events to stimulate young minds during the extended break. From Mr. Bond and the Science Guys to the Ijams Urban Wildlife Program, days at the Jefferson City Library have been fun, exciting and stimulating. Books and interactive activities are always the order of the day, as the Library staff works hard to bring knowledge to life for our youngest residents. Be it through Park Ranger Jason and his slithering friend Wilber the Corn Snake or thoughtfully chosen books that are brought to life through guest readers, engaging young readers is always a priority at the place where books live.
