Jefferson County 4-H/FFA members win big at the Tennessee Valley Fair

Jefferson County 4-H and FFA members come out on top at the Jefferson County Fair. The Jefferson County youth had the 3rd highest amount of entries in the fair.
The Junior High Dairy Juding Team placed 1st in the Eastern Region. The team members were Beau Larrance, John Ryan Scarlett, Justin Scarlett and JoBeth Scarlett their coach is Robert Scarlett.
The Senior High Dairy Judging Team place 2nd in the Eastern Region. The Senior High Team traveled to Murfreesboro to compete in the State FFA Dairy Judging and they came home with 1st place. The FFA team will compete later this fall in the National FFA Dairy Judging. The senior High Team is coached by Mike Maples.
The Jefferson County Bread Baking Team baked biscuits for the fair goers on Tuesday night of the fair. The 4-H members received lots of compliments on their tasty biscuits.
