HENRY L. MATTESON, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014. He was a member of Marine Corps League Detachment # 1206, American Legion Post # 113, and Toys for Tots. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Lyman Matteson, George Matteson; sister-in-law, Emma Matteson. He is survived by wife, Terri Matteson; sons, Daniel E. Loveday (Frances), David Matteson (Kim), and Kenny Matteson (Karen); grandchildren, Ashleè, Charles, Sarah, Katelyn, Grace, Kenny Jr., Ruthie and Liam; great-grandsons, Austin and Camron; brother, Jim Matteson (Judy); several nieces and nephews. Memorial with military honors service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to TN Smoky Mtn.
