Legacy Theater Presents: Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smell!

L. T. Junie B picLegacy Theater is excited to announce their upcoming production of Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! November 14, 15, 21, 22. If you’re looking for a fun way to kick off the holiday season, this stage play by Allison Gregory based on the popular children’s book series by Barbara Park, is definitely the way to do it! Junie B. is a spunky and endearing first-grader that will win the hearts of children…. and the child in each of us. Peggy Horton Price, Legacy’s Artistic Director, shares, “Whether you are 8 or 80, this production definitely promises an evening of laughter, sweet memories and encouragement.”

MacKenzie Price Myers plays the adorable Junie B, with Mary Morris as Junie B’s rival, the tattletale May. Joining the class of first-graders is Benjamin Myers, Brandon Jessie, Chris and Jamie Sood, Autumn Leming and Jordan Costner. Mark McConkey and Julie Moss play the teachers in charge of this energetic group, with Mindy Williams double casted as Elf Ellen and Junie B’s grandma, and Philip Johnny Bob, the elephant, being played by Christopher McConkey.

 The production team for this show includes Deborah Miller as technical director; Teresa Douglas, costume design; Mike Fuerst, sound engineer; Mindy Wiliams, marketing; Kim Fuerst, administrator; and cast “chaplain”, Linda Quesenberry.
