The streets of Dandridge were filled with running enthusiasts last Saturday, as Run Like a Fish Out of Water came to town. Over 100 entrants made the five mile trek that ended with a home stretch across the Green Bridge in downtown Dandridge. If an evening race, crossing a bridge is not unique enough, envision that the runners are wearing fish on their heads- in the form of hats, of course. The adult run was preceded by a kids run and both were a huge success for the Boys and Girls Club of Dumplin Valley and the Dandridge Community Trust, who shared the proceeds from the event.
