SYLVIA INEZ DUNWOODY, age 93, of Jefferson City, TN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Inez was a devoted wife, mother, auntie, grandmother and friend. She was a member of Boyd Chapel United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, James Carl Dunwoody; sisters, Marie, Medora and Louise; brother, Howard; and son, Jerry. She is survived by daughters, Claudia (Frank) Haskins, Carlette (John) Russaw, Janet (Eugene) Russaw; son, James C. Dunwoody, III, (Loretta); eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Reliford; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service is entrusted to Farrar Funeral Home on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside interment will follow the service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
