REV. PAUL E. LAMB

Rev. Paul Edward Lamb, age 80 of Talbott, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Paul was an individual of deep Christian beliefs, who spent over 70 years studying and teaching God’s Holy Word. He, along with his wife of 47 years, co-founded Talbott Christian Assembly. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Roy Minnis (Gussie) Lamb; his wife Barbara Marie Lamb and brother, Harold Lamb. He is survived by his sons, Tony (Mary Jayne) Lamb; David (Terri) Lamb both of Talbott; two grandsons, Jared (Acoya) Lamb and Marc Lamb both of White Pine; one granddaughter, Nikki Lamb of Talbott; two great-grandchildren, Braxton and Kiya Lamb of White Pine, he is also survived by his sister Viola (Morgan) Cluck of Morristown; brothers, Hugh (Jean) Lamb, Bill (Judy) Lamb, Bill (Judy) Lamb and Ralph (Nila) Lamb all of Talbott; eight nieces and nephews, seven great-nieces and nephews and four great-great-nieces and nephews. The family would like to Thank the dedicated caregivers of Amedysis Home Health Services and Jefferson County Nursing Home. The professionalism and compassionate these groups exhibited are greatly appreciated. Visitation will be held from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City, funeral service will be held at 7:30pm following the visitation with the Rev. Brian Osborne officiating, family and friends will gather at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 11:00am for the committal service. He will be entombed at Jefferson Memorial Gardens following committal service. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Cluck, Mike Smyth, Marty Lamb, Danny Lamb, James Lamb and Ryan Goode.
