ELIZABETH TALLEY COCKRUM, age 95, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2015 at Parkwest Medical Center following an extended illness. She retired from Carson Newman College cafeteria. Preceded in death by husband, Jimmy Cockrum; parents, Bazil and Mae Talley; brothers, Bud and Roger Talley; sister, Jean Smith. Survived by her daughters, Carolyn and husband Ralph Luttrell of Lenoir City, TN, Judy and husband Gary Smiddy of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Lisa Poe and Ken Smiddy; sister, Margaret (Charles) Devotie; brother, Fain (Mary) Talley; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Arwood officiating. Graveside interment services will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
