Dandridge Police Department Increases DUI Enforcement

The Dandridge Police Department is continuing its efforts in impaired driving enforcement funded by the Tennessee Governor’s Highway Safety Office. It is the goal of the Dandridge Police Department to provide the utmost security and safety for our community by utilizing the funds for extra police officers on the roads to detour and apprehend people who make the decision to drink and drive.

As Old Man Winter leaves the Town of Dandridge with his ice and snow, there will be more traffic on our highways and roadways because of the “cabin fever” our citizens are experiencing due to the extreme weather conditions.

“As Spring comes closer, we ask our citizens to drink responsibly and to have a designated driver to get you home safely,” stated Chief Carson Williams.
