PUBLIC NOTICE – BUILDING PERMIT REMINDER

Building permits are required for any covered structure larger than 120 sq. ft; (10’x12′) including garages and accessary buildings.  Portable buildings less than 260 sq. ft. are not required to obtain a building permit.  Portable (metal) carports are not required to obtain a building permit.  Barns that are strictly agricultural (no campers, trucks, lawn care equipment, construction equipment stored within) are not required to obtain a building permit.  All of the structures must still observe the zoning setbacks.  Thank you for your cooperation.
