ALYSSA ZEPEDA, age 20, passed away suddenly April 26, 2015 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. She was a member of the Catholic faith and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She was a 2013 graduate of Jefferson County High School and currently attending Walters State Community College, where she was pursuing a teaching career. She was currently a substitute teacher with the Jefferson County School System. Survived by parents, Robert and Nanette Zepeda; sister, Lexie Zepeda; grandparents, David and Shirley Hively. Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. Family will receive friends following the service.
