INVITATION TO BID – Jefferson County Schools Special Needs Mini School Bus / Buses

INVITATION TO  BID

The Jefferson County Purchasing Department will be accepting sealed bids for the Jefferson County School System for a used special needs mini school bus/buses with air conditioning, with or without lifts, diesel or gas with less than 100,000 miles (* No 6.0 diesel engines).

All winning bids of used school buses will be required to provide the original title of the bus to prove original in-service date.  The buses must meet all DOT, Federal and Tennessee specifications.

Sealed bids should be labeled “JC School Buses” and either dropped off or mailed to the attention of Langdon Potts, Finance Director, P.O. Box 1749, Dandridge, TN  37725.  Physical address:  1244 Gay Street, Dandridge, TN  37725.  Bids will be accepted until 1:00 PM Thursday, May 28, 2015 at which time bids will be opened in the finance office.

The Finance Director reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any and all irregularities in the receipt/handling and acceptance of bids.
