INVITATION TO BID

The Jefferson County Purchasing Department will be accepting sealed bids for De-Icing Salt to be used by the Jefferson County Highway Department. Bids will be for one year (1) from July 1, 2015 until June 30, 2016. All bids to be F.O.B., Dandridge, Tennessee. Affidavit required.

100 Tons De-Icing Salt                                   $_________________ per ton

All bids should be marked “SALT BID”. For affidavit form and additional information contact Charles Tipton at 865-397-2155.

Sealed bids should be mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the attention of Langdon Potts, P.O. Box 1749, Dandridge, TN 37725. Bids will be accepted until 2:30 PM Thursday May 28, 2015, at which times bids will be opened in the Finance Department Conference Room.

The Finance Director reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any and all irregularities in the receipt/handling and acceptance of bids.
