JOHN MARK MASON, age 56, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Newport, TN. John was born in Knoxville, TN and grew up in Bristol, TN, where he was a member of Anderson Street United Methodist Church. At the time of his death, he was living in Dandridge, TN and employed as an industrial engineer for ConAgra Foods. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Mabel Mason. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, David and Lynn Mason; and sister, Jane Johnson of Bristol, TN; his companion, Julie Rankin of Dandridge, TN; nieces and husbands, Amy Forster and Jerry of Knoxville, TN, Angela Stiltner and Chris of Bristol, TN; nephew and wife, Kyle and Magdalene Mason of Nickelsville, VA; three special great nephews, Kaleb, Julian and Zane, great niece, Makayla Johnson. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Woodlawn Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service with Rev. Richie Hayes officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Anderson Street United Methodist Church, 954 Anderson Street, Bristol, TN 37620.
