JOAN WALKER, age 75, of Rutledge, TN and formerly of Jefferson County, TN passed away Wednesday morning, May 13, 2015. She was born, October 25, 1939 in White Pine, TN, the daughter of the late George Lee and Frances (Lane) Walker. She was preceded in death by brother, Lewis Walker; sisters, Gertrude Walker, Carol Walker Watson, Evelyn June Walker Carr and Nancy Jean Walker. She was a graduate of Maury High School Class of 1957. She is survived by her sister, Doris Marie Walker (Bob) Heft; brother-in-law, Jake Watson; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and their families. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jake Watson for the exceptional, loving care he provided to Jo during her last year. Graveside Inurnment services will be held, Friday May 15, 2015, 11:00am at the French Broad Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Dr. Sean White officiating.
