JUNE JUBILEE RETURNS JUNE 20th… BE THERE IN THE HISTORIC TOWN SQUARE

June Jubilee Poster AdJune Jubilee will arrive on the streets of the Historic Town Square in Dandridge this Saturday, June 20, 2015. A favorite event of the past, June Jubilee is making its’ first appearance in several years and the return promises excitement for the community and visitors. More than 50 vendors will line Main Street in downtown Dandridge, offering everything from pottery and handmade baskets to balloon animals and tee shirts. Music will play throughout the day and evening, with Lost Creek Band, Pop Seals and Open Range Band, Grits and Hillbilly Bonez performing on stage. Entertainment will also be provided by various other groups including the award winning Jags Cheer leading and East Tennessee Twirlers. For history buffs, there will be an authentic Civil War encampment complete with traditional music, as well as antique tractors, hit and miss engines and artisan demonstrations. For the kids, there is a kid’s zone that will be complete with inflatables, including a water slide ( weather permitting). Be sure to come hungry because the variety of food will please even the pickiest eater, with ten food vendors on site, each offering unique, tasty treats. Everything from mouthwatering BBQ to Beans and Cornbread and funnel cakes to cold, sweet creations will be available. There is no cost for admission and the June Jubilee will open at 10 am and stay in full swing until 10pm, giving folks the opportunity to make more than one trip to the street fair to catch a favorite band or grab some lunch or dinner. Some food vendors will even pack a meal to go! June Jubilee will be fun for the whole family and is a great way to spend this Saturday! June Jubilee, June 20th, rain or shine.
