It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas in July

With July more than halfway over, many people are looking forward to the remainder of the year, as we all feel that familiar longing for the Christmas holiday season. With attention turned towards the Wintry holidays, one can’t help but wonder how Saint Nick is handling his Summer. Today, July 20, 2015, the North Pole has an expected high of 33 degrees Fahrenheit with 14mph winds. Tennessee, on the other hand, is still sweltering in a brutal heat wave that has afflicted the region for over a month, as the high today is 91 degrees Fahrenheit. As we move into the week temperatures are expected to drop to highs of approximately 87, before settling back into the low 90s. Tennesseans won’t be joining the good Saint on the snow drifts, but that won’t stop the cheer from spreading South. As the July heat stretches on, those feeling festive should keep their eyes peeled for the traditional TV specials and sales geared toward the slowly but steadily approaching Christmas season.
