DARLENE WOODS SATTERFIELD, age 76 of Dandridge, TN passed away July 28, 2015. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge. She retired from the US Post office in Dandridge TN. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Proceeded in death by her husband, Bill Satterfield; parents, Bill and Gerogie Woods; and sister, Mary Scott.

Survived by son, JJ (Melissa) Patterson; grandchild, Jacob; step-children, Gary (Linda) Satterfield, Sherry Satterfield and Terry Satterfield; brothers, Curt (Charlotte) Woods, Ronnie (Gay) Woods, John (Jeanette) Woods; brother-in-law, Ken Scott; and several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the many close family friends and the care and love they expressed and a special thank you to caregiver, Shelia Dennis. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge with the funeral service to follow at 7:00pm with Reverend Dennis Rimmer officiating. Interment graveside services, Friday, 11:00am at Swanns Chapel Cemetery.
