FFA Educates Local Children With Petting Zoo

The Jefferson County High School FFA Officer Team had a busy day on Saturday, as they conducted a petting zoo at Centennial Park in Jefferson City. The event offered community children the opportunity to engage the animals, as well as offering children and adults educational information on a variety of local farm animals. FFA Secretary Erin Bacon stated that the group had a great time interacting with the community and providing information that could be helpful on the animals that were present.
