WALTER “PINEFOOT” DAVIS, age 84, of New Market, TN passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his son, Pete Davis; mother, Ruth Davis; twin brother, Arthur E. Davis, Sr.; sister, Elizabeth Wilkerson; nephews, Robert and Sheldon Wilkerson; aunts, Alberta and Ethel M. Davis. He is survived by his caregiver, Amy (Lee) Jarnigan; devoted cousins, Audrey (Zack) Taylor, Kathy Williams, Judy (Robert) Smith, Brenda Davis, Jenny Phipps, Krystal (Chad) Seals, Nancy (Ken) Rucker; son, Joe (Marcie) Davis of Morristown; sister-in-law, Ethel E. Davis; mother of his children, Ina J. Allen; a host of other relatives and many friends. Special thanks to Gracie Brooks, Patricia Kyle, Silas “Eddie” Griffey, Dwight (Tina) Huff and the residents of Eastern Street Apartments for your friendship and love throughout the years. Thank you to the staff of Jefferson City Health and Rehab, Avalon Hospice for your care and compassion during his final days. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
