The Bare Look

Darlings, Selma Gomez is featured in a Vogue photo wearing a dress that I would get down on my knees and beg the designer to give me in the same design, add or take nothing away!  The object of my madness is a latte-tone leather, lusciously colored and designed, featured with an oversized buckle and rushing for the bodice and waist. A rounded hem adds such a youthful  look to this highly structured style, which is a fashion forward design created by Brandon Maxwell.  Stilettos-style heels with ankle straps complete the elegant but sexy style.  I know I am going to dream about this dress and wish upon a star to find a copy of this probably zillion dollar dress.

Now that Summer is coming to an end, it is time to detoxify the toes that have worn heavy neon colors: blues, pinks, greens, corals, and yellow to brighten the beach or poolside attire.  A relaxing pedicure with the toenails buffed to a shine and a simple nude hue polish is the bare look. Deborah Lippman has created a CC crème for the toenails that fills in ridges, smoothes, and gives a natural healthy appearance. Bare look polish is a base coat in nude, or a tawny one for deeper color skin.  Butter London Nail Foundation is great for fair color skin.  As of this writing, Sephora has this polish listed online for 19 dollars. So go for the trend of the Bare Look for those toenails!
