Rusty Wallace Breaks Ground in Dandridge

One of Jefferson County’s newest business hosted a ground breaking ceremony on Friday, August 22, 2015. Rusty Wallace Ford is relocating from their current location in Newport to Sharon Drive in Dandridge, and the new, more accessible facility is projected to be open in the Spring of 2016.

The Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce hosted Friday’s ceremony and several local elected officials and dignitaries were on hand to welcome the new business to Jefferson County. Also in attendance at the ground breaking was racing legend Rusty Wallace, who stopped by on the way to cover last weekend’s races, giving his nod of approval to the prime, new, interstate location. The new facility is expected to be around 20,000 feet and will provided a customer friendly atmosphere for clients.
