AGNES ATHERTON, age 71, of New Market, TN (Dumplin community) passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Atherton, Sr.; son, Ronald Atherton, Jr. She is survived by son, Michael Atherton and wife, Kimberly; grandchildren, Shaun and Shaina West; great-grandchildren, Makayla Hensley and Kelsey Hensley, Caylan Olsen; brother, Ray Jones; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
