Robert A. Hale age 74 of Mooresburg passed away Tuesday (10/6/15) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. He was retired from the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Brooks Hale, son, Ron Hale, father, Chester A. Hale and mother, Mable Ford.

He is survived by his son, Jim Hale and wife, Rebecca, grandson, Matthew Hale, sisters, Betty Sue Friley-Mayo, Sandra Floyd, Judy Gallagher, Brenda Larkin and Vicky Hale, numerous nieces and nephews.

The Hawkins County Color Guard and The Tennessee Army National Guard will conduct military graveside services at 11:00 am Thursday (10/8/15) at Courtney Cemetery. Pastor Jim Price will be officiating. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heritage Fellowship Church Missions, P.O. 130, Jefferson City, TN. 37760. Christian-Sells Funeral Home is serving the family.
