The Jefferson County Tennis Association has been taking advantage of the onset of cool October evenings to get in a few sets of game play. An active group, members gather at the Carson Newman tennis courts for competition, exercise and fellowship with other tennis affectionados and they have even acquired a small but enthusiastic following of spectators for their inner association matches. The association has also been active in supporting the sport on the local level and have generously donated $45,000 to the service of the Carson Newman tennis courts. Members of the Jefferson County Tennis Association encourage and invite those interested to stop by and catch the action, as they go head to head against friends and team mates.
